While staying in Meningie there is a range of things to do thats if you need to be taken away from the picture perfect Lake Albert where you could be relaxing watching the amazing birdlife, checking out the stunning sunsets while enjoying a wine during happy hours.

Go over the ferry at The Narrows to where Australia's only inland light house is located at Point Malcolm. Continue your drive on from here and turn off at the Princes Highway back to Meningie, making sure you stop off a the Pink Lake (10kms out from Meningie), many months of the year this lake can turn a very bright pink colour and is definate photographers moment.
For those not wanting to drive the Meningie Museum is located immediately across from the caravan park entrance and has many displays of farm machinery from yesteryear.
Those with own water craft such as kayaks, sailing boats, wind surfers, etc go out and enjoy what the lake really offers.
Why not enjoy a hit of golf at the Lake Albert Golf Course which is only located up the road from the caravan park, on Friday nights they also do meals along with the Meningie Bowling club.
